The composite card, made of thick cardboard, is durable. The game is played with at least two and at most four players. At the beginning of the game, the composite cards are shuffled with their picture faces down.

Each player draws seven composite cards. The youngest player places one of their composite cards face up on the table. The second player places a composite card next to this composite card that matches one of the images on either end of the composite card.
